Getting the planes off the ground is half the mission, and nobody does it better then Air Force maintenance troops. The KC-10A posts some of the highest on time take off (OTTO) and world reliability rates every day, and a very large part of that is due to those on the ground. While the planes and the pilots get most of the attention, the people in maintenance go about their duties, unnoticed by most.
This area of the KC-10 Homepage is dedicated to the men and women who turn the wrenches, change the tires, and repair the avionics day in and day out.
